Thought Leadership Content Creation Process

Step 1: Determine your strategy

Determine if you want to use an existing entry or create your own.

Timebox: 5 mins

 

Step 2: Plan and Research the blog Idea

Read the Buyer Persona Guide to understand your target audience

Choose a topic, determine your target audience, and conduct your research.

You need at least five (5) sentences.

Timebox:3 hrs

 

Step 3: Create Blog Idea

From your research, create/Complete your entry by adding the necessary details to the Content Creation Excel file.

Timebox: 3 mins

Step 4: Get Blog Idea Approved

Schedule a 15 mins sync session with Content Manager (Stacy) to approve the entry. Use google calendar when scheduling the content manager will share the target date for the first draft & blog publishing. 

Update excel sheet under notes

Timebox: 15 mins

 

Step 5: Meeting & Scheduling 

Based on the first draft target date, organize your calendar to meet with the Blogger.

The Editor will contact you via email so ensure you have available time to meet.

 

Step 6: Editing and Revising 

Edit and Revise the first draft.

Blogger to recommend links to our services and other pages on the QualityWorks website

The content Manager should approve QualityWorks and QualityWatcher links added.

Timebox:2hr

 

Step 7: Publishing and promoting
